Science Is Never Perfect

Makes me think of the time I saw Ben Goldacre talk. I’ll paraphrase his thoughts on science vs quackery: Just because airplanes are flawed doesn’t mean that flying carpets work.

I think that is a big misconception about science, though. For those of us trained in it, we assume there are flaws, but it can still be moving the ball forward.
