Thoughtful piece; I agree with much of what you said.

Where I’ll disagree is the idea that “Money will (and should always) be the main drive of business . . .” In my view, the purpose of business first and foremost is to provide value, either in the form of a product or service. The money is a by-product of providing good value. Where we get in trouble is when it becomes an end in and of itself.

But perhaps I have the luxury of that old-fashioned view because I live far from Silicon Valley . . .
