Meet Andres Escobar, the footballer who was shot dead for scoring an own goal
Andres Escobar Saldarriage was born on March 13th 1967. Andres Escobar Saldarriage was a Colombian professional football player who played as a defender for the Colombia national team.
Andres Escobar Saldarriage was popularly known as The Gentleman. Andres Escobar Saldarriage was also known for his uncontaminating style of play and equanimity on the pitch.

And that was the reason why he was shot in Colombia by some gangs who uesd to work for one of the Colombia durag lord who was called Pablo Escobar. at that time Pablo Escobar was not alive but his gang men’s was still taking control of the durag business.
According to the the eye witness who saw what happened to the Colombian footballer Andres Escobar Saldarriage said. “he saw some two men infront of Andres Escobar Saldarriage car talking Andres Escobar Saldarriage but later on the men start arguing with Andres Escobar Saldarriage later on one of the men remove gun and shot Andres Escobar Saldarriage while shooting Andres Escobar Saldarriage the man shouted goal goal.
The eye witness said he wasn’t the only person who saw what happened to Andres Escobar Saldarriage. According to the eye witness there was soo many people around there but when they saw that the men holding a gun they all run away.
Andres Escobar Saldarriage murder tarnished the image of the country internationally. Andres Escobar Saldarriage himself worked hard to promote a good image of Colombia which helped the country have a good name in football.
