The leaves are thick and leathery, elliptical, oblong ellipse or obovate ellipse, and the leaf surface is dark green and shiny. The flowers are white, fragrant, 15–20 cm in diameter; tepals 9–12, thick fleshy, obovate, 6–10 cm long and 5–7 cm wide. Aggregate fruit cylindrical oblong or oval, follicles dorsally split, dorsal round, long beak at the top; seeds nearly ovoid or ovate, about 14 mm long, 6 mm in diameter, red intesta, After removing the seeds from the outer seed coat, the top is elongated into a short neck. Flowering period from May to June, fruiting period from September to October.
