Oak tree, also known as oak tree or oak tree. The general term of Fagaceae includes species of Quercus, Cyclobalanopsis, and Kesi. It usually refers to plants of the genus Quercus, but does not specifically refer to a certain tree species. There are 615 species of Quercus, of which 450 are from the subgenus Quercus and 188 are from the subgenus Quercus. The fruit is called acorn, and the wood is called oak in general.
The oak tree is the largest flowering plant in the world; it has a long life span, and it can live up to 400 years old. The fruit is a nut, one end is fluffy, the other end is smooth, it is the finest food for animals such as squirrels. The study found that a Jurupa oak tree in California, USA, has survived for at least 13,000 years and may be the oldest living creature known in the world.
On April 30, 2001, the U.S. Arbor Day Foundation announced that the oak tree has been selected as the U.S. National Tree after online voting by the public.
