3 Proven Ways to Make Money Online Fast

If you’re like most people, one of your New Year’s resolutions probably included making some money online. And hey, who can blame you? If you have the skills and time to get into the gig economy, it can be an awesome way to earn extra cash on your own schedule. However, to help you get started down the right path, we’ve outlined three proven ways that you can make money online fast, even if you don’t have any experience with affiliate marketing or blogging yet!

Here’s how to get started…

Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is one of the most popular ways to make money online because it’s so flexible. You can do it remotely, in your spare time, and on your own terms. You just need a computer and an internet connection.

Freelance writing provides a number of benefits that you don’t get when working for someone else. For instance, you set your own hours and decide how much time you want to commit each day. You also get to choose what type of work you want to do rather than being given tasks by your boss.

Many people enjoy freelance writing because they are able to work from home or anywhere with an internet connection which allows them more freedom in their daily lives — working from the library, coffee shops, or even the beach!

There are many different types of freelance writing such as blogging, web content creation, copywriting, editing and proofreading. One way to find these types of jobs is to search through websites like Upwork, Craigslist, FlexJobs and Contena.

To give you an idea about potential earnings: copywriters who have been freelancing for at least five years earn an average $47 per hour while those who have been freelancing for less than five years earn around $21 per hour (contributor). If you would like a more accurate estimate of potential earnings based on your skillset then visit sites like PayScale where you can plug in specific information about yourself.

Affiliate Marketing

Selling products online is a great way to make money quickly.

Physical products can be anything from jewelry, clothes, or furniture — anything that people are willing to buy online. You’ll need an online store, but after that, you’re good to go. It’s up to you how many products you want in your store and what price point you set them at.

The more variety of products the better, though if you’re just starting out it’s best not to have too many options so that customers don’t get overwhelmed and abandon their shopping cart before they’ve found what they’re looking for. Best practices suggest having between 10 and 20 items per category, with each product having its own sub-category.

You will also need to include images and detailed descriptions for every item in your store; this way when potential buyers click on something they want to learn more about, they’ll find all the information needed there as well as on other pages linked from it.

For digital products, when selecting which affiliate programs you’re going to join, consider doing some research first: Find affiliate networks that sell things related to your niche, then sign up with those networks individually instead of signing up with every single one.

If you decide to create links to multiple affiliates, ensure that the links take people directly to the actual page where they can purchase items and not to generic landing pages that list lots of different retailers.

As soon as you start making sales, your commission rates will kick in. Most affiliate marketing companies pay commissions monthly, either through PayPal or by direct deposit into your bank account; others might require a minimum amount of sales before any commission kicks in at all.

Some commission structures offer higher percentages for specific types of sales (such as when someone clicks on one of your links instead of simply viewing one), while others may offer bonuses for reaching certain milestones (such as $100 worth of orders).

Selling Products Online

A lot of people don’t know this, but you can actually sell your stuff online and make a good amount of money. If you’ve got something sitting around that you’re not using or need some extra cash in a hurry, try selling it on eBay or Craigslist. You’ll be surprised how much interest there is in secondhand items these days!

You might even find an item that’s worth more than what it originally cost if you do your research and set the price right. This would be especially helpful if you’re strapped for cash but have things sitting around your house that could be sold quickly. The last thing you want to do is wait months trying to sell them at local garage sales when all it takes is setting up a quick listing online.

Digital products online like eBooks, courses, and software can be a great way to make some quick cash. You’ll need to have something you know about and are passionate about, but once you’re set up it's usually pretty easy money. Once you’ve created your product, which is typically just a matter of hours or days if it’s not already done for you by someone else (e.g., if there isn’t already an eBook on your topic), the next step is to promote the product.

When you’re promoting your product, it’s important to focus on building trust. Most people won’t want to buy a product from someone they don’t know or trust, so try and get yourself some testimonials and reviews.

Final Thoughts

There are so many ways to make money online, but some are more lucrative than others. The three most popular ways that work for a lot of people are freelancing, affiliate marketing, and selling products online.

You can also make money from blogging or through various other methods if you can find the right niche.

Freelancing is where you do jobs that someone hires you to do like graphics design, web design, writing, editing, and all kinds of other things.

Affiliate Marketing is when you promote products on your website, youtube channel, or blog and get paid a commission every time someone buys something.

Selling online products is actually you selling stuff online and making a good amount of money. You can sell either physical or digital products.

That being said, this list only covers some of the potential ways to make money online. There’s plenty more out there!
