Merit Circle collaborates with decentralized, real-time rendering network Aethir

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Decentralized Cloud Infrastructure (DCI) provider, Aethir. This powerhouse, with more than 150,000 monthly active users, has laid a solid foundation for their journey to millions of users across the globe. We can’t wait to support Aethir as it double-downs on its efforts in the gaming and AI market, and to connect our ecosystems more closely.

As part of this collaboration, Merit Circle Ventures has invested $1,500,000 in Aethir.

What is Aethir?

Aethir is a pioneer in Decentralized Cloud Infrastructure (DCI). Their network helps gaming and AI companies — big or small — put their product directly in the hands of consumers, regardless of where they live or the hardware they own. Aethir solves market fragmentation in a way only the decentralized cloud can.

Using the decentralization of real-time rendering and computational resources, Aethir enables its users to provide access to a vast network of distributed hardware with improved performance and significantly reduced cost. Simply put, you get the performance of a mega-computer with multiple quads running, on a cheap device.

Millions of users across the globe

Aethir is already proving itself useful to over 150,000 monthly active users and is setting its sights on attracting millions in the near future. The network’s clientele is diverse, ranging from large global enterprises to artificial intelligence firms and gaming studios.

Since its foundation in 2021, Aethir has aimed to become a globally known infrastructure partner. This funding round is set to allow Aethir to grow into regions where hardware and connectivity barriers are at its highest, such as South East Asia, Latin America, and North America. With an ambitious roadmap, Aethir is expecting to reach more than 20 million monthly users by the end of 2023.
