Merit Circle Ventures collaborates with Delabs Games to release free-to-play Rumble Racing Star
It is with great pleasure that we may share the news that Merit Circle Ventures is collaborating with Delabs Games. The studio founded by seasoned game developers has many games under development, with the first scheduled to see the light being Rumble Racing Star. As part of the collaboration, Merit Circle Ventures has invested $100,000 in the seed round of Delabs Games.
What is Delabs Games?
On a mission to build fun games to last a thousand years, with the help of blockchain technology. Led by Joonmo Kwon, the former CEO of Nexon, Delabs is integrating the wonders of blockchain without anyone having to know a thing about NFTs, wallets or crypto in general. Notably, those working on Delabs right now have accumulated over 300 million downloads across various titles over the years.
Delabs has an ambitious roadmap, with at least three titles already announced. Space Frontier, a space-themed survival crafting MORPG, and Metabolts, a Japanese anime-themed character collection action RPG, are on their way, but only after Delabs’ first release: Rumble Racing Star.
Rumble Racing Star
Rumble Racing Star is a casual racing game where players battle it out on their lawnmower. Players can choose to race with the original Rumble Racing Star cast of drivers or popular profile picture (PFP) projects. With a unique skill to each driver, it’s the competitive edge that may put you ahead of the pack. Players can experiment with strategies to find their winning mix, juggling factors like their own skills, their chosen driver, their lawnmower’s particular traits and the nature of the tracks
The game will be free-to-play with traditional gaming mechanics such as in-app purchases, as well as an optional layer of engaging with the blockchain that’ll become evident in due course. Within the game, there will be different race modes and tournaments where players spend and earn different currencies as well as blockchain assets.

The Closed Beta Test for Rumble Racing Star is around the corner, happening from August 1–7. With lots of activities planned for this week under the name of ‘Summer Camp’, we invite everyone to sign up right away!
