How Protests Against Trump Help Trump
Steven Waldman

Best thing you and I can do is to encourage news organizations, independent journalists and others we know in the field to actually engage in assessing Trump, his policies and most importantly the actual set of business experiences that are the premise of his campaign. Trump “University” is just the tip of the iceberg. From claims about his actual net worth, to his claims about building the Upper West Side project in New York, to his casino deals, branded products, political/business activities going back decades and the litigation record involving his businesses, for many voters all they have are his assertions. Claims by some editors that “we’ve had that story” are irrelevant if those materials were published before the current campaign. So even a plea to editors to revive and repackage their Trump archives would have value. We’re talking about millions of uncertain voters who are likely to face a Trump-Clinton choice in November.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
