An aimless person lives a life of undirected emotions. Instead of focusing on the bigger picture they stop at every blemish or bright spot. Failing to aim for a target they get dragged around by circumstances.
The bigger picture is the target, drawn one day at a time by your actions. If you don’t focus on the bigger picture you’ll die incomplete instead of a masterpiece.
Seeing the bigger picture gives you a direction. It’s deciding what you want before you hear the price. If you can’t afford it now you invest what you have to get it later, not taking what’s given.
Instead of focusing on what you want, you’ll focus on how to pay for it. When you’re focused on how to pay for what you want your only cost is time.
Spending more time on the bigger picture gives you a timeframe. Your timeframe crops everything outside of it and helps you stay focused on the bigger picture.
Keeping the spotlight on the bigger picture dims your distractions, making it easy to aim until you hit it. Your mind is a weapon that can hit any goal you aim at. Idiots won’t aim, and cowards won’t take a shot.
