What is Aurora+ and why do I have to register to qualify for the Cash Back?
Aurora+ is a membership program for users of Aurora, that provides a suite of valuable benefits such as free transactions and the ability to earn multiple rewards by staking your AURORA tokens. Enrolling in Aurora+ will enable users to try out the fascinating Aurora ecosystem in a centralized dashboard, without paying gas fees.
A basic Aurora+ account is free for all users. In the future, Aurora+ will offer paid subscription plans that deliver additional benefits.

What am I earning if I’m eligible and participating in the cash back event?
You will receive your cashback in UCT tokens equal to 20% of the amount you swapped into Aurora. UCT tokens are redeemable on Meson at a fixed rate of 100:1 to USDC/USDT on supported networks. The more you swapped into Aurora, the more you earn! The maximum cashback is capped at 200 UCT per address for transfers over 1000u. The reward pool is 1,000,000 UCTs (equals to $10,000) and the activity might finish early if the rewards pool is fully distributed before the end time.
When can I participate in the cash back activity and get the reward?
Cash back starts on Aug 1st, 2022 at 0:00 GMT and ends on Aug 14th, 2022 at 23:59 GMT.
Your cash back will be paid out between Aug 15th and Aug 16th.
Is there any other thing about the Cash Back that I should pay attention to?
- Meson charges a 0% (Zero) fee for transfers into Aurora and a 0.05% fee for transfers out of Aurora. We encourage users to be involved in DeFi or other projects on the Aurora ecosystem, while discouraging rapid transfers out.
- The cash back checkbox will only be visible once per address on the first transaction to Aurora, and the cash back will only be rewarded to the address that clicks the checkbox.
What is UCT and what should I do when I get UCT reward?
UCT is a coupon token issued by Meson and will not be listed on any exchange. It can be converted directly to USDT or USDC via swaps on Meson at a fixed rate of 100 UCT = 1 USDT/USDC. The unredeemed UCT will automatically be invalidated after 2 weeks.
