Googles Parent company alphabet’s revenue last year was $90.7 Billion Dollars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabet_Inc.

With this kind of revenue they could continue making mistakes for another 15 years without a single product success and yet they would still be far from collapsing. This is simply not possible, no one can continue making mistakes for that long. Also Google's total revenue has never decreased year over year, in fact they are constantly on the rise if one revenue stream dries up they get the revenue from other sources. I dont see how the imagined catastrophic event will fruition and when? Interesting fiction piece though.
