-The Metadium Testnet will undergo a hard fork at block #44671396.

As part of this upgrade, a fee payment function that allows you to cover transaction fees for other wallets has been added, along with new types of transactions and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) to support this feature. Consequently, a new API will be introduced.

What is Fee Delegation?

Fee Delegation Transaction is a service where the FeePayer covers the transaction fee the Sender wishes to execute. This service is facilitated by sending existing Transaction information signed by the Sender with the FeePayer’s signature. Please note that Fee Delegation Transaction exclusively supports Dynamic FeeTxType among the current Transactions signed by the Sender and does not support LegacyTxType or AccessListTxType.
