And that’s exactly what happened as we upgraded from the Pre-Alpha 2.0 Version to release the all-new, with superior gameplay and added features — the MetaFighter Alpha Version. In this blog, we want to take you through each and every development that the game has gone through in the last two months.

- New Game Modes: Players can now select one of three game modes available. These are Player vs Player (PvP), Player vs Computer (PvC) and Train Mode.
- Better combat system: Intense fighting will now become the norm. Our developers, understanding the passion of the arcade gamers, have improved crucial aspects of the overall combat system, thus, putting an end to the gameplay glitches.
- Know your fighters in and out: Every fighter has certain characteristics. With the new version out, the parameters such as Attack, Defense and Speed of the fighters are now calculated on the basis of their inherent characteristics. Told you, the game has gotten more real!
- Cooldowns & Combos: A few fighters amongst the lot have earned new action combos and periodic cooldowns, making the game more thrilling and real.
- Primary Fighter NFT Utility unlocked: A long-awaited, highly-sought feature by the community has now arrived. Owners of Fighter NFTs can now use their purchased fighters to play the alpha version of the game.
- “My NFTs” section is live: NFT owners can now view their purchased NFTs in the game with cool Animations.
- Match-making is better than ever: The server balancing required to match fighters in the multiplayer mode has been improved to offer a smooth playing experience.
- Enhanced network connection: This version offers server region selection (Right Top Corner in GUI) that has made the multiplayer network connection stronger, making it possible for players to fight against their opponents from across the world with ease.
- Use MetaMask inside the game: Metamask, the integrated crypto wallet for token transactions or Fighter NFT appearing, has been authorized for usage inside the game.
- Another fighter gets special effects: Following the likes of Fang, Volkov, Zod — our boxing champ Nash has got special effects and a 3D model. The PvP bouts with Nash now feel super exciting!

New Fighters
Four new fighters have joined the MetaFighter realm, namely Jeezar, Adzilla, Gaby and Elantra.
Jeezar, the sharp & stylish, laser-emitting fighter with Gaby, the cool, short-haired, mechanic-turned-fighter are from the future. Adzilla is the frail-looking Karate maestro, while Elantra is the double blade-wielding warrior with silver-blue braids who believes mercy is a weakness.
NFTs of these new fighters will be released soon.
Tournaments
The mega platform to showcase your combat skills. Leaderboards, rewards and ultimate fighters from every corner of the world will join to prove their might. This game mode will not only expand the reach of the MetaFighter game but will take you closer to the narrative driving our whole metaverse.
Stake $MF to get Fighter NFTs
This feature will enable $MF token holders to stake their tokens and earn Fighter NFTs as rewards. These Fighter NFTs can then be used to play the game and earn further rewards. Moreover, Fighter NFTs belong to different tiers and each tier renders you a host of utilities.
Tier-up your Fighter NFTs

MetaFighter is a skill-based Play-to-Earn fighting game which captures the essence of arcade fighting classics like Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur, while delivering an in-game economy that rewards players for their combat prowess.
The successful launch of the alpha version has opened up several new fronts for the project.
