I went through precisely the same thing, culminating in a full MS diagnosis. Turns out it was mercury toxicity in the end and nothing to do with ‘ms’ or my immune system ‘attacking’ my brain, rather, it was simply cleaning crap out of it which you would think is standard function.
In any case, I am sure that even though they are pumping you with steroids as they did me, nobody is thinking to let you know you should be taking stuff to keep your calcium metabolism from going haywire amongst many other things (iodine, magnesium for example and a host of others). In me it caused a vestibular disorder which had me dizzy for years. I had to find out how to fix it not to mention code up a VR app to help me with it!
