In the past 48-hours, we witnessed the bizarre truth about the hidden intention Bloktopia which is completely against the ethos of the decentralized world! Till then Bloktopia was one of the upcoming projects on Metaverse whose vision we admired.
We were focused on building our own project & we came across the statement from Bloktopia about Metamall.
This is a response to Bloktopia:
1. These claims are all baseless, our vision and mission as described in the whitepaper and website are unique in industry. During launch of website and whitepaper, we had given a design agency a mandate with our inputs. Our community and team members informed us that they might have used some stock photos and content from website. As soon as we found out, our team did a thorough revision within 24 hours and removed any deviances. As someone who holds 12 patents I understand copyright infringement very well
2. We have received countless messages from many investors of Bloktopia that they are not distributing tokens to their own investors as contracted. Many investors even went on calling Bloktopia a scam. It is unfortunate that Bloktopia is using us as a smokescreen to get out of its obligations towards investors telling investors that if they even talk to us they will not distribute investor tokens.
3. I have 12 global patents on 3-D and VR imaginary. The entire team of MetaMall is focused to build a world-class product. But on the other hand, the only thing Bloktopia are extremely good at right now is marketing and putting mental pressure on new founders in the metaverse space so that they don’t have any competition. Anyone with a little knowledge about VR will tell you that to even render a metaverse thats half as good as the one Bloktopia is showing on its website you will need a 150GB hard disk with RTX 3096 graphics card. It’s so unfortunate to see that rather than focusing on building their product and thinking about their consumers they are busy demeaning innovative companies like us and threatening Metamalls team members and partners.
4. Bloktopia has already forgotten its vision that it started out with of creating a metaverse, now they are focusing on Blokpad which is a launchpad. Is it fair? If Bloktopia wants to compete with MetaMall let’s compete on the merits of an innovative product, let’s have a healthy competition. Don’t burn your investor’s money on pulling your competitor down with the help of marketing and using muscle power to suspend social media handles
5. Nobody has a patent on Metaverse, it is not owned by one person or entity. We are here for the long haul. We expect many metaverse projects in the space and there is no claim of anyone to an original idea here, only of the product and execution. The concept has been around for years. Like Facebook, MySpace, Orkut in social media or Apple, Samsung, Nokia in mobile phones, companies launch at different times with different degrees of success. We have patents and the ability to scale. Companies like Bloktopia don’t and by doing negative PR on others are exposing their own lack of confidence. They don’t yet have a product and seem to be working on building Launchpad for flimsy purposes. Metamall has a unique take on Metaverse and our brand partnerships, design and development bear that signature. The one who delivers the better product is the one which wins!

6. I appreciate constructive criticism but it’s unfortunate to see my fellow colleague CEO of BlokTopia abusing & threatening my teammates. Hence I would like to invite the Bloktopia CEO to a public AMA to have a healthy discussion.
