The Animal Kingdom

Meet Dustin, he is a 13 year old maker who creates cool and realistic animals out of tape. Dustin has been making them for about three years and finds inspiration by searching up animals on the internet. This summer, Dustin has set out to create many new and intricate animals. So far, he’s created a sea dragon (pictured below), lobster, deer, bull frog, antelope, rabbit, rat, and fish.

In addition to his creative tape animals, Dustin just created a new bear inspired hat! This head gear has everyone in MetaMedia envious of Dustin’s new style. Creating these animals has Dustin aspiring to be a taxidermist when he grows up. One MetaMedia staff member has challenged Dustin to provide us with facts for every animal he creates!

Dustin will be showcasing all of his creations at the MetaMedia Maker Fair this Saturday (8/13) and is looking forward to presenting his facts to the community! Please join us at the McGaw YMCA (1000 Grove Street) from 1pm-3pm to learn more about all the amazing Makers in MetaMedia!
