Executive Summary
Metamory is a blockchain start-up aiming to create the world’s first Web3.0 mourning platform combining tradition, commemoration and blockchain to develop a reliable mourning platform for users. The project will be separated into different interconnected parts: MemoryLand, Biography Exhibition, Blockchain Graveyard and AI Avatar. These services will be provided to ensure users have an authentic mourning process.
Metamory users can purchase an NFT graveyard or grave to input the information of their beloved ancestors. Besides, users are encouraged to design their own NFT grave to be traded on Marketplace to gain profit. Metamory can leverage on these to create a sustainable tokenomics.

Problems
Research reveals that 41% of interviewees expect live-streaming of ceremonies to continue permanently. On the other hand, only 21% feel strongly about attending a ceremony in person. Therefore, there is a huge potential market for the online deathcare industry. We have noted that there are several problems in the traditional online deathcare platforms. Metamory aims to inherit what traditional ceremonies provide in addition to solving existing problems with our solutions. We will exert a drastic revolution on online mourning.
Most of the existing online deathcare platforms simply display data on websites and provide a clickable button to mourn. Neither religious rituals nor offerings are provided for the customers to express their grief and regards to passed loved ones. Traditionally, blessings from priests, coupled with offerings can confer meanings and uniqueness to our ancestors . Current online deathcare platforms cannot recur a meaningful mourning process under such circumstances.
Solutions
Applying NFT and Blockchain technology, we can create a one-of-a-kind and irreversible mourning object, NFTgrave. Metaverse’s meaning and features can be applied to the mourning process. This allows people to join the ceremony in person with digital offerings. Meanwhile, a non-rewritable record will be recorded on the Blockchain.
We would like to commemorate memory in Metamory. Users from everywhere can be connected through the Metamory platform. Your memories and footprints will be sustained and become immutable.
Moreover, we wish to disrupt the commemoration industry by creating social impact with the vision of creating a fusion of innovation and tradition to mourn anytime and anywhere. From an environmental perspective, our platform could reduce the use of resources and the pollution brought by physical commemoration. For communities, we aim to reduce the physical barriers to mourning and liberate the experience for people everywhere.
