Metavault.Trade Integrates Chainlink Price Feeds and Keepers to Help Secure and Automate Perpetual Trades
We’re excited to announce that Metavault.Trade has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds and Chainlink Keepers on Polygon mainnet. By doing so, our perpetual trading platform now has access to a highly secure and reliable source of financial data through Chainlink Price Feeds, while our users can post a variety of limit-order trades thanks to hyper-reliable smart contract automation from Chainlink Keepers.
By integrating Chainlink Price Feeds, Metavault.Trade is able to securely settle users’ trading positions based on high-quality price data delivered by a decentralized network of oracle nodes. With Chainlink Keepers, users can execute limit-orders (stop-loss, take-profit, order limit, etc.) requests reliably. Keepers enable us to leverage off-chain computation together with on-chain execution to provide our users with a better trading experience. Moreover, the Chainlink documentation and step-by-step guides are thorough and easy to follow, which helps to provide our developers with the best developer experience.
Unlocking The Continued Growth of Metavault.Trade Through Chainlink Trust-Minimized Services
Metavault.Trade is a spot and perpetual exchange where users can swap or long- and short-trade with up to 30x leverage. To protect traders, critical system components need to work reliably, and both parties need a verifiable source of truth for pricing data. After many hearing about how robust Chainlink trust-minimized services are, we decided to integrate Chainlink services into our most critical functions.
Securing Perpetual Trading With Chainlink Price Feeds
The DeFi market has expanded rapidly in recent years. As the cryptocurrency industry continues to grow, a number of challenges remain — security, scalability, and trustless custody, to name just a few.
To provide the best trading experience, trading platforms require access to secure, accurate, real-time financial market data on blockchain networks. Metavault.Trade is one of those platforms and it is designed to provide a large range of trading features and deep liquidity for many crypto assets. By implementing Chainlink Price Feeds, Metavault.Trade has gained access to a secure and reliable oracle network that helps to track critical price movements for traders. Chainlink Price Feeds already help secure tens of billions of dollars in value for leading DeFi protocols across the blockchain industry, maintaining robust security even in the face of unexpected events such as exchange downtimes, flash crashes, and data manipulation attacks via flash loans.
Expanding Limit Order Functionality With Chainlink Keepers
Metavault.Trade has expanded its Keepers integration to automate limit order executions. Limit orders allow traders to place stop losses, take profit trades, or buy/sell orders for any asset at a desired price, and these trades automatically execute once specific conditions are met.
Chainlink Price Feeds and Keepers integrations are very important for Metavault.Trade users and the DeFi community at large. We’re excited to secure our orders with the help of Chainlink and to provide our users with the best trading experience possible in the ecosystem, both for swaps and perpetual trading. Now our users can better protect themselves against volatile market conditions and the means to seize market opportunities whenever they arise through advanced limit orders.
“We’re happy to be integrating Chainlink Price Feeds and Keepers to help unlock secure perpetual trading and advanced limit orders for the Metavault.Trade community. We understand the frustration of having to sit in front of the computer and monitor prices in order to get the desired outcome from a swap or trade. With Chainlink Keepers, we have a decentralized solution for limit orders on swaps and perpetual trading that is cost-effective, reliable, and based on tamper-proof price data provided by Chainlink Price Feeds.” — Steve, Co-founder of Metavault.Trade
About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications. Chainlink currently secures tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries, and offers global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.
