Metera Incentive Program and Discord Revamp
We are excited to announce the Metera Incentive Program! We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from our amazing community throughout the years! Because of this, we wanted to come up with a way to reward our most active community members and give back to those that have been with us on this journey! This is the first step to becoming a fully decentralized protocol and being ruled by a DAO.
What is the Metera incentive program?
The Metera incentive program is an exciting new initiative where users can complete certain tasks to receive rewards in ADA and eventually in our utility and governance token, $METERA.
Several times a week, we will be creating a variety of incentives using our DAO portal on the Clarity Platform. We are grateful for the ClarityDAO team for building out the tools to make this possible!
When an incentive is created, users will be able to head over to the MeteraDAO page on the Clarity website and complete the tasks to receive points.
The current incentive program is a leaderboard style competition where the top 5 users with the most points in a specific timeframe will receive a reward in ADA by completing tasks.
In the coming days, we will be sharing a video that explains how everything works. This will show users how to find tasks, how to complete them, and how the leaderboard system will work.
Rewards and Timeframe
The first competition will begin on Tuesday, March 26th @16:00 UTC. The competition will last a full month ending on Friday, April 26th @ 16:00 UTC.
Rewards for the top 5 users
1st Place — $50 in ADA
2nd Place — $35 in ADA
3rd Place — $30 in ADA
4th Place — $20 in ADA
5th Place — $15 in ADA
The specific details of this competition can always be changed as the Metera community dictates. Metera will utilize a DAO structure by allowing our community members to vote on specific changes to this program in the future.
In future versions of the Metera incentive program, all users will be able to earn a fixed reward in $METERA by completing tasks. We will share details with the community when this upgrade has been implemented.
This first iteration of this program will allow us a month to gather feedback and implement changes based on user feedback for the next incentive program.
What is the best way to participate?
The best way to participate in this program is to join our community on discord and to turn on notifications on X.
In our discord, we have created the channel #Incentives where we will send out each incentive that is created with instructions on how to complete it. It will show the amount of points and the deadline to complete the task.
We have also created the #roles channel where you can claim our new role #incentive-explorer to receive information each time a new incentive is created! Head over to the discord and claim these roles.

Metera Discord XP System Revamp
With the introduction of the Metera Incentive Program, we have restructured and revamped the XP system to align with these new initiatives.
How does it work?
XP will be primarily obtained by sending messages on the discord server. In the Metera discord server, there are two roles to be obtained when you reach a certain level. These roles are the Metera-Novice and Metera-Master which are obtained by getting to LVL10 & LVL20 respectively.
We have also included certain ways to boost a user’s XP from being active in the server.
1. Incentive Role: A boost of 10% extra XP will be granted to those that claim the incentive-explorer role. This means that for every message a user sends on the server, they will receive 10% more XPs than those without the role.
2. Message size: There is also a boost of 20% for anyone that sends a message of greater than 20 words (In one sentence).This boost encourages members to participate and provide value to the community by writing meaningful messages and participating with others.
Why do I want to achieve the Metera-Novice and Metera-Master roles?
Members with the Metera Novice role will have early access to the closed beta test-net and other upcoming features on the Metera platform.
Members with the MeteraMaster role will have prioritized access to the private test-net, access to platform features, and much more!
Roles Revamp In Metera Discord Server
There are a total of 4 roles within the Metera Discord. Each of them can be granted, with the exception of the Metera OG role that has been reserved for those that have supported the Metera Protocol from day one.
1. Metera Novice: This role is for users who are just starting out on their journey with Metera. As a Metera Novice, you have shown a strong interest in the project and are eager to get involved. You have had a limited amount of interactions with the Discord server but are well on your way to becoming a more experienced member. Achieved at level 10
2. Metera Master: As a Metera Master, you have proven yourself as a knowledgeable and dedicated member of the Metera community. You have had a significant amount of interactions with the Discord server and are regarded as a valuable asset to the project. Achieved at level 20
3. Metera OG: Metera OGs are supporters from day one. This role is manually assigned and not self attainable.
4. Incentive Explorer: This is a self attainable role for members that are interested in joining the Metera incentive program. This role will allow all users to be notified each time a new quest is created for the Metera Incentive Program on discord.
