You are absolutely correct. I may have missed it, but did the Eiffel Tower get lit up like Yemen’s flag after their bombing(s?)? How about Lebanon, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia.

There are as many attacks, and (if I remember correctly) more dangerous attacks, perpetrated outside of Europe and the USA. We don’t normally hear about those. And it is sad.

I know many people are just trying to do some good and show support. But they are assisting those that are using these attacks to consolidate their own power, or to disenfranchise another group. We need to be logical about these things, even though attacks on our brethren are, by definition, emotional.
