Perhaps we need communities (subreddits, etc) that are moderated by leaders in the OSS community…

You are right. We need an idea and discussion driven community lead by an experienced and soft engineers, that’s why we have so many differences and problems in JavaScript. It gives a lot of freedom but don’t give us any rules on how to use it.

This is what I am working on with BunnyJS which is going to be more then just a library or a framework, but a whole community and a place for discussions.
