Is enough, enough already?
Can you distinctly remember a time in your life where enough was simply enough? If you can I want you to run this simple exercise. Sit down and go back to that defining moment. Recall as much details as you possibly can. Was it a fight in an abusive relationship? Did you find out a close friend was scheming behind your back for business deals? Maybe, your a war veteran returning to the civilian sector. Years are passing you by and you still just can’t seem to recover fully or find your place in being ‘normal’. How many times have you woken up to stare at yourself in the mirror feverishly trying to understand what it is you are here to do?
Now ask yourself, are you still in that same moment? Right now look into your surroundings is it still happening? That thing that you once had enough of, is it still there? Ever present creating such havoc in your life but yet you said you had enough of it before. You set your foot down and demanded of yourself that you would no longer stand for this thing thats creating negativity in your life. So why the fuck is it still present?
Because you don’t value yourself for shit. You’re here so that people can take advantage of you, so they can hurt you, so they can betray you. Right? Why else would you still let such things to exist in your life? You need to nuke every fucking avenue of negativity in your life before it ever has a chance to come forth. Your best friend since 4th grade has been sleeping with your boyfriend of 5 years behind your back and somehow you still found a way to make amens with her. You even blame your boyfriend and claim that he was the one seducing her. How about your manager who know’s that your his best asset in the company and still denies you that raise, bonus or even promotion. You’ve been going at it for 7 years strong and you have proven time and time again that your work ethic surpasses that of your manager but yet you’re in the same position wishing one day he/she steps down or your boss will make it happen for you.
We cannot let this go any longer. There must be a divine solitude when making changes to your life people. That’s all there is to it. Otherwise, you get over the initial emotions of the moment and then the past creeps back in like a shadow in the face of a full moon. When you make that decision to remove the negativity, you must dip it in kerosene and burn it to ashes. From those ashes you are reborn time and time again. Although we have one life to live, our decisions for betterment gives us much more lives than we could ever wish for.
