By far one of my favorite series and one of the greatest in the history of television.

It's a black comedy with elements of horror and fantasy.

For sure an unlikely premise.

Can a family that runs a funeral home find happiness?

It’s certainly touch and go for several seasons.

Mental illness, homosexuality, family politics, sexual weirdness, and death all get thrown into this furious mix.

Each episode begins with the death of a person. This event explores the journey of the person's corpse as it winds its way through the funeral business.

The family that owns the funeral business is constantly on the brink of emotional collapse.

It gets creepier.

Deep psychological fears are often portrayed through apparitions adding an extra touch of the supernatural to the series.

Six Feet pushed the boundaries of television.

The message was clear.

Humans are resourceful when it comes to survival.

It’s a skill that’s a prime feature of our species

The series finale remains one of the biggest tear-jerkers of all time.

Death may ultimately triumph, but we can still be healed in spirit.

Amen.
