Wow! 25 years…I first caught the Linux bug back in the late 90’s with Caldera Linux…and continued to experiment with it, despite using Windows and Macs (both the old OS and OS X). In the last 2 years, I’ve gone “Full Linux”-for 2 reasons: one, as much as I liked MacOS, between the bloatiness and hardware requirements, it was getting expensive-which ties into my 2nd reason: I’ve got kids getting ready for college, so my budget for toys is WAY down :). Lastly, although I’ll probably never contribute to the codebase (my programming skills are limited to a bit of Python and C), I appreciate the open source philosophy. Great article!
