After the first few paragraphs, I had to stop reading this for a second to figure out whether or not I’d written it. Are you me? I too worked at an ice cream shop, and I know that look people give you when they ask how you stay so thin. When I quit and got a full-time office job, I gained 10 pounds. It sucks. I also struggle with acne and have done two rounds of Accutane. I gave up on it for a few different reasons and have generally accepted that I will never have clear skin. Anyway. I don’t know why I am telling you this other than to say, it’s good to know I’m not alone. Thanks for writing this.
