Content and Design Are Inseparable Work Partners
Jared M. Spool

I’ve found in my experience that often the content is left as the last step of a website (for example) building process. The client is more interested in having a general idea of the final result using dummy content to fill the mockups that the designer prepares. This happens because the client herself separates the two entities - like a body (the content) with a dress (the design), the client thinks that the single parts can be changed individually even knowing that not all the outfits are right for each body shape and situation. In these situations I think that it is the designer job to unite the two worlds, acting as a director towards the results, and explaining the point of this very good article to the client.
