I find that to be a creepy experience.

I suspect an “off the record” or “encrypted” chat option will become a standard bit of functionality for many services. I believe Google already talked about an “Incognito” mode for its services and the rumors persist that Facebook is working on an encryption option for Messenger as well (where none of these A.I. features would presumably work).

But I still think such functionality will be more niche. I hear you, but looking at general trends, I believe most people will be okay making the trade-offs you’re not willing to make. And increasingly so over time as this functionality becomes more of the norm.

Of course, if you think there’s a nefarious nature to this, you shouldn’t use any of it.
