Yeah, wording was backwards. Fixed!
Is Apple still making products better than most of the other products out there? Generally, yes. But there are various signs of slippage — fraying at the edges. If those things start to add up — and it feels like they’re starting to add up.
100% agree. The best theaters in the world (like Electric Cinemas in London) are amazing. But the continued consolidation/roll-ups by AMC and Regal will only ensure that the vast majority of peoples’ experience in a cinema is crap. Which will hasten the decline…
I don’t expect mobile gaming to be huge for them any time soon because they clearly do not understand mobile gaming. Super Mario Run is a very well done game (well, aside from the menus and sign-up flow, which are atrocious). But they’re making basically no money off of it. That’s not sustainable.
If that’s true, than Nintendo is in far worse shape than any of us imagined. How would they release a product and not realize this? This would literally be the first thing a competent company would check. (I don’t buy it.)
It’s sort of a cop-out, but really in my experience, everything. One thing that stands out: with every flight, you have a consistent experience. This is obviously because Virgin America is relatively new, but all the planes were the same. So you knew they all had TVs in the seats, WiFi, etc. On other airlines, it’s a total crapshoot if you’ll get a new or old plane. This matters.
