Hello Omri and everyone who has commented. Thank you for thinking through this! I am the Director of Wikipedia’s fundraiser and I really appreciate you guys thinking about how we could do better. Really! Daniel was right, we do test lots of different versions of the design and message. Our goal is to raise the budget, but also to educate all readers about how Wikipedia works — without bugging them too much!
