This is really well written. There are many good points especially the connection to the similarity of abusive relationshiops. I had never considered that. I feel that the second to last paragraph is the most important to get accross to the electors. Just as you say, ‘This is the very situation the founding fathers predicted.’ It takes moral courage to do the right thing and set a historical precident. I hope enough people convince them to have that courage.
I was shocked on election night. I tried to tell myself this was like Bush v Gore, and ‘this is how democracy works.’ I waited to see what Trump would do and how he would act after election night. Everything after the acceptance speech has given me reason to encourage the electoral college to cast there vote against Trump, with the popular vote of the people, and in accord with the principles of the constitution.
