“About this time, a man and woman from the tribe of Levi got married…” Ex 2:1

Wow . Every generation asks the question: “Do we really want to bring children into this scary/evil world?”

But look at this — as the Hebrews were being so mistreated and oppressed, they multiplied. Specifically, when baby boys were being thrown into the river to die, the Scriptures say, “About this time, a man and woman from the tribe of Levi got married.”

Thank you Lord that when I am about to have a son, you lay this message on my heart. It is not of you to surrender to darkness or give up hope. No matter the bleak view or grim circumstances, you are working. You are still building your kingdom. It’s up to me to build with You.
