There are studies about how space tells a story, whether in film, novels, museums, video games, etc. Movement throughout that space is also an important language for immersion and persuasion. I believe these studies can feed into the model of environment design for our products. A combination of narrative and environment can be a powerful psychological tool to engage users.
The trick is not to be gimmicky and/or cumbersome in the implementation. I’m very eager to see where this is going!
