What comes to mind when you think of ‘AI music’? The most common association is AI-generated music. The majority of people imagine abstract compositions created by a robot, machine, AI-based application or service. While this is a valid response and fair association, composing and generating are not the only music-related tasks AI is used for.

Since ‘AI’ became a buzzword in the past few years, it may seem like artificial intelligence was invented only recently but it couldn’t be further from the truth. …

Despite the fact that many songs uploaded to our service are separated into vocal and instrumental tracks with remarkable accuracy, this isn’t the case for all audio tracks. As we mentioned in the LALAL.AI vs. Spleeter comparison post, stem separation precision doesn’t fully depend on the work of these or any other similar services. The quality of sound and mastering of each individual track is the critical factor in how accurate the split is going to be.

As the number of LALAL.AI users grows rapidly, so does the amount of requests to improve the stem separation result of this or that song. As much as we would like to, we have no direct influence on the splitting quality of specific audio tracks. …

No matter the impressive advantages Instagram has, from a huge and ever-growing active audience worldwide to convenient tools for self-expression and interaction, a rare user has not thought about an alternative. This applies to regular users as well as to influencers, brand ambassadors, and businesses.

There are a variety of reasons to look for an Instagram replacement. The platform’s users are often dissatisfied with the work of the algorithm, significantly reduced rates of reach and engagement. Because of that, independent creators and small businesses find it increasingly difficult to compete for attention with brands whose advertising budget is considerably bigger. …

Businesses are always on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities to create an ad or campaign that makes them stand out and attracts new customers. But as time goes on, it’s becoming progressively harder to find a way to grab viewers attention. Many consumers are tired of ubiquitous social media ads, brands exaggerating the advantages of their products, and the doubtful honesty of paid influencer reviews. Consumers are overexposed and overstimulated — an additional push would rather cause frustration than spark any interest.

So, how can businesses effectively promote their products then? How do they sincerely demonstrate their values? What do brands need to build trust and boost sales? There is one answer: user-generated content. Online reviews, testimonials, blog posts, social media publications, customer videos and photos — all these and other brand-related content made by consumers, are considered to be user-generated content. The opinions of fellow-consumers are largely influential and deemed to be significantly more trustworthy than any brand-made advertisement. …

Competition in the world of digital marketing and ecommerce is at an all-time high. Just keeping an online presence is no longer enough for a brand to stand out. Building an effective strategy and making the most out of every opportunity are a must to leave the competitors behind. But there is still a valuable source untapped by many businesses — user-generated content.

What is User-Generated Content

User-generated content (UGC for short) is any type of content that is created and shared by consumers of a brand, about that brand, products or services. It’s Word of Mouth communication in the digital age. Examples of UGC are testimonials, reviews, social media posts, customer photos and videos, and the like. …

Over the years of Combin’s existence, we’ve received a lot of feedback and ideas on how else we can help Instagram marketers. The scheduling and publishing of Instagram posts was one of the leading requests from thousands of users. Marketing agencies, media companies and other large organizations often need to publish thousands of posts per month, which is almost impossible to do manually, while small businesses and individuals could use aid with regular publishing to free up time for other promotional activities.

We decided to create Combin Scheduler to help users organize their content delivery and save precious time. It was in the making for a hot minute, and now we are happy to announce that the official release of the Scheduler beta version is ready! …

At the beginning of June, Instagram drastically reduced the number of available limits on user actions. Primarily, this affected a number of users who were regularly and actively using the follow/unfollow function, as they started to get the action blocked error message. They had trouble following and unfollowing both on Instagram and via third-party applications all June. In July, it became known that liking and commenting action limits were also significantly lowered.

We now have reliable information based on our analytics that the overall number of daily action limits has been reduced by Instagram by about half. We have adapted Combin to the new limits with the release of version 2.0.5. Our development team continues to investigate the situation, collect analytics and analyze the data sent by Combin users, and will continue to adapt the application to new Instagram changes. …

One billion

One billion is an incredibly large number, and it is also the figure which represents how many active users Instagram has. In July of 2018 it hit the magical mark, having increased from a mere 800 million in the previous September, which is phenomenal growth. Of course there is a limit to where these sorts of numbers can go, but the potential reach is almost inconceivable. One billion. It is worth repeating that number several times just to consider the magnitude of it all.
