Avoid self-righteousness on your path towards greatness and lift others up in the process

The conundrum of growing for me has been the enhanced sense of where others are at around me in their own human growth.

I can see their flaws and suffering more clearly. Of course, many talk about going through spiritual transformations and when doing so it requires letting go of toxicity around you.

But what if those around you aren’t necessarily toxic and if there’s no direct or obvious indirect harm that they’re causing you ?

I don’t know if letting them go or avoiding those that aren’t on our level per se would be my first reaction.

We are here to lift others up. To model behavior that is for the greater good.

Whether you chant, mediate, or pray, focus on having wisdom, compassion, and courage to take the best steps towards being your best self and practicing on this earthly plane for yourself AND others in your environment.

Don’t forget, when you change, your environment changes.

With peace and love,

Micah Rivers
