Most stress is caused by just two things: Family and Money

Think about your last argument. With your family member, your partner, your friend or your colleague. What was it about? Odds on it was either about money or family or both.

Of course there are the Really Big Topics: Religion and Politics, which are grabbing all the headlines and causing so much conflict and unhappiness around the world but most people don’t debate these very often.

So when people ask me what makes the money transfer or remittance business so complex, I tell them that it’s largely down to that mix: money and family.

At Azimo our customers are migrants who send money back home to family regularly. And it’s a complex process: joyful, stressful, rewarding, fraught, fulfilling and upsetting. We always try and remember that as we build the business.
