Early on in my career I didn’t have anyone in my family who was a programmer, so I had to figure out most things on my own. Luckily for me, there was this stellar platform called YouTube, where I could find just about anything related to programming that I needed.

I’m a visual learner, and I understand things better by watching others. So of course this was my favorite outlet to go to, and still is. I can definitely say that watching the videos from some of these channels boosted my level of confidence, and knowledge as a programmer.

Now I’m here to share them with you in hopes that they can help you on your journey as a programmer. Here are 11 noteworthy YouTube channels for aspiring programmers, and my pros and cons of each.
