Everyone can be creative if one knows these symbols

I was once invited as a guest speaker for some lectures to college students to talk about technologies, innovation and their association with society.

The most asked question from them (and maybe many of us too) was “I am not a creative person, how can I innovate and find new ideas?” It appears to many of them that so many great ideas has been created and there is no room left for innovation!

We often hear answers like, be curious, always ask questions, your imagination is the limit, break the rules, think outside the box, and connect the dots, etc., but many of us does not know how to explain how new ideas can be created, what direction shall we take and how we can help others to be more creative.

There is no difference from Steve Jobs as well. Even Steve, in the book, “I, Steve: Steve Jobs in His Own Words, admits creativity can be hard for some people:
