Why You Should Focus on God:
John 12:36 says “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. The bible passage you read clearly stated why you should focus on God.
When you don’t focus on God, you’ll end up walking in darkness. It’s essential to focus on God if you’re a believer because Jesus classified those who believe in Him and emulate His characters as the light of the world.
John 8:12 says “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The only remedy to not walking in darkness is focusing on God.
When you focus on God, you’ll find delight in seeking God, studying His word, doing His wills and keeping His commandments to have more knowledge of God and to avoid doing things which are not pleasing to God.
Remember that you cannot focus on God and remain the same. The moment you start looking unto Him for direction, guidance, and help is the same moment you begin to abound in good works, knowledge, understanding, and wisdoms.
Also, you cannot make God your priority, then end up being a failure in your academics, work organization, profession or career path, and your business.
Let God be your area of concentration, and everything that concerns you will surely be perfected. If you don’t engage in things that does please God and disobey His instruction.
