Get ready to be triggered because this is the truth about the President of the United States, the figurehead who represents the U.S. to the world. He’s not as important as everyone has propped him up to be.
Does he have anything to do with the economy? Some things he says or executes can affect the economy to a degree, just like how a headline about a supply and demand issue in China can affect the stock of a company in Texas. But there are far more factors outside of the president’s control that have a greater impact.
How many contributing members are there in society? How many are unemployed and need assistance? How strong are the veteran businesses and how many new businesses are starting up? How much capital do we have swirling around from business to business and from person to person?
Those are some of the most important factors of an economy. Of course, the most important one is consumer spending. How much does the president have to do with new businesses that are forming or old ones that have been in play? How much does the president have to do with advancements in technology?
