Diddy has legal issues and more coming every day as he struggles through his meteoric fall. But sources say Lady Gaga has made sure that her lawyer isn’t going to represent him.
The law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks actually represents a number of powerhouses in the music industry. Lady Gaga is one of them and Diddy used to be. But GSM&S made a decision to drop the rapper because they said it was the right thing to do.
Sources say that Lady Gaga gave her lawyers an ultimatum that they would lose her business if they continued to represent the man who is facing sex trafficking and rape charges, not to mention the violent footage that went viral where he was beating and kicking Cassie in a hotel. Her lawyers have said in no unclear terms that she had nothing to do with their decision. But they might just be trying to keep her name out of it.
Lady Gaga is known to stand up for people and make bold moves when she feels it’s the right thing to do. She is also known to keep out of other people’s business because she’s kind of cool like that. So, it’s not completely implausible that she would flex and make Diddy scramble to find other representation to battle through all the legal complications he faces.
