Boulevard Park is located on the Bellingham shoreline between Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham. It is not the most sophisticated or advanced park in the world, but adequate for many people to have a good time at. The park has both positive and negative aspects to it.

Many people who frequently visit the park believe that there is not sufficient parking areas around the park (Boulevard Park). This is a major problem because on nice days there is an abundance of people who visit the park and this leaves many people having to park far away and walk to the park. Although this is unfortunate it is not all bad because parking around the park is free. Parking is okay, but could be made better with more parking spaces.

The Boardwalk area is unique to the park and the only place in the area that has a boardwalk area. However, it is very short, so it is not a place for people looking for a long walk to go to. It is also very busy on a sunny day and it can feel like it is hard to have space to move around.

One of the ways to think about this place is as a social or cultural location, this is because the people that are at the park help define it. The people at Boulevard Park are very relaxed and it gives off the sense that it is okay to come to Boulevard Park and be stress free. Also the types of people found at the park are very friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere.

It is also important to note that Boulevard Park has developed over the years and has made some key improvements. For example the boardwalk was established to entice more people to come to the park. Below shows a picture of the park construction and what it looked like during the construction.

As you can see the boardwalk was not always as pristine as is today, it took many years for it to be developed and is always evolving. As time goes on it is inevitable that things are going to change and there has been major change that has occurred at Boulevard Park over the years. Boulevard Park is not just what it is today, but is a place that contains memories for a lot of people. It is not something as simple as a Boardwalk and a nice grass area. It is more than that this place has developed itself based off of the personalities of the people that spend time here. The park is ever evolving and has been remodeled over many generations.
