One way to exploit the social media is through visual documentation. This involves recording your key skills and work portfolio and posting on schedule on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram and other media platforms of your choice. Put a structure to it (post either once or twice every week) and stick with the routine.
Don’t border too much if the likes and views don’t come as you want in the early stage. One best way you can get your first few likes and views is from friends, family members, colleagues at work, groups you belong to and other platforms you subscribe to.
Research has shown that videos generate more engagements than other formats. Put a name and description to your video. This is very important. Most people that need service vendors do mine the internet for reference materials. You stand a chance of your video popping up if you have large numbers of it online and do an optimization of your site with the appropriate key words when posting.
Put a phone number and email address to your material for contacts and constantly check your email for messages. Be always ready to quickly reach out to potential clients if you have any lead.
