Putting together the pit crew

Last Sunday I ran the Central Coast half marathon.

I enjoyed it but have had pain in my left leg for almost a week now. Had the day off today and went to physio — found that I have aggravated my peroneal tendon. Got some stretches and a recommendation to revisit my shoes.

So I decided to turn today into a let’s help me out day. Visited a sports nutritionist and a running shoes specialist to get the basics right.

I feel like the pitt crew has been formed to enable the systems that make up my body to deliver what I need then to do — run a marathon.

It’s nice to know I’ve got a team of professionals to help me.
