One aside is I did want to hear any story of someone with stage IV cancer that was told they would die and managed to live. That is always inspirational to me.

Ted, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma, doctor told me (keep in mind I was 22) that I should “not leave anything unsaid to those I love”…um..that was super-helpful and uplifting — and scared the everloving shit out of me. Surgery, follow-on treatments for two years and 20-yrs and 6 start-ups later I am in tip-top shape.
