Are you in your debunking asserting that there were no Irish slaves arising from the seventeenth century land clearances in Ireland? Are you perhaps misinterpreting the meaning of the word ‘cheap’. You say the Irish slaves were cheaper than the black slaves. Surely you mean that the Irish were less expensive or ‘inexpensive’. You have thrown a lot of ‘facts together in a jumbled fashion without coming down on whether or which the Irish were exploited in their seventeenth and later history. Be clear and the chances are you will be disliked or even hated for what you are suggesting. Better that than to be loved for what you are not.
