Carving a pathway and walking on the streets as a member of the minority group yet thriving are not two of the easiest trips to take.

However, this resilient young lady Dalia Dias is forging through regardless of the opps in her way.

Dalia is a young black female director and photographer of Nigerian and Egyptian descent based in London, United Kingdom.

Dalia has had a spark for creativity since her childhood days. Her diverse upbringing was channeled positively and became a spark for innovation and creativity.

Dalia has made a U turn back to the motherland and has started to display her dexterity. In a space of less than. six months she has directed visuals for one of Africa’s biggest Dj Spinall for his hit single Sere which features Fireboy DML off his fifth studio GRACE. Also, one of Africa’s biggest music artiste @davido was graced with Dalia’s blessings as she directed the visuals for his trendy bop “La la” which features Ckay off his third studio album A better time.

She’s championing a movement in a male dominated space and her works her doing justice and the talking for her.

Hopefully we see more female directors transforming our favorite music into moving pictures in this part of the world.
