Abby O. Akoto. A sad, well written poem that says what many of us felt at some time, as long ago as a thousand years, or an hour ago, when that door shut for the last time. We all have been in the stormy sea that tossed us about as if it were going to rip us apart. But it seemed to let go, right at the moment of impact, it gave up, and let us be. The memories were not so hard to swollow and the visions not so blurry to see.

I like the imagery in this poem. It holds our interest and it is somewhere many of us had visited before. You explain it well.

Nicely written poem, Abby O. Akoto

Well done you.
