Allan, thank you for your nice article on Senator John McCain. I do not agree with is politics but I respect the man who endured so much as he served our country as a Prisoner Of War. For 5 1/2 years, he was tortured almost every day, in the beginning of his captivity. The soldiers who tortured him, used his broken arm and leg to try and make him talk but he did not break. I remember when I came home from the war and the world saw several POW’S give their speech, in front of the News reporters and cameras from around the world. It was a publicity stunt to make the world see the war as it was. These men were in need of medical care so they took an out to go home. John McCain did. He wouldn’t take the deal to go home even though he was in dire need of good medical help, but he stayed in his cell, and prayed that he could live to come home and be with his family again. The men that did this, I can’t blame. Everyone of them needed more medical care and they felt they were the forgotten soldiers. So, they came home, and Jon McCain stayed behind.

I too want say two words to Senator John McCain. Get Well.
