You did a lovely job of explaining how Beauty leaves us as we age. It’s a very lovely write. You certainly show us the truth of the “disappearing youth.”

I love how you say that Beauty hates when you ask it why it left. That is so apparent with women when they purchase hair color to hide the gray, foundation to cover the flaws on the skin, wrinkle remover (oh, how women wish for that) and anything that they see on TV that promises to make them look 20 years younger after 2 weeks, (most women are saying, hell they would have had me at 10 years younger). Beauty is a multi Billion Dollar Industry. The advertising agencies and now getting richer by the truck loads, sort of like it was in the Heyday of the Cigarette campaigns.

Men don’t worry about aging as much. Maybe hair loss, hair turning gray, their potbellies and their man boobs. But they don’t really worry all that much if they are married and they are happy with their house, car, their kids, and their carriers. Most men just sort of go with the flow because they have such youthful beautiful wives……. Right…… and never let them look at that special drawer that has the, fall to make your hair look fuller or the girdle to help shape and sculpt, or the support hose that sort of tucks the legs in, and never let them know what that Determabraze is for or the Hydroxide cream. After all, men need their illusions.

But, as we all do sort of worry about age sapping our beauty, we really have to remember, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and True beauty is found inside.

Blessed be.
